We first encountered Wilfree at a Vogue Club event in New York City, where he stood out in a khaki-colored duster and matching hat. As he approached our group, his warm smile and magnetic energy immediately made us feel at ease.
Known for his incredible work with celebrities such as Cher, Selena Gomez, and Kim Kardashian—whether through advertising campaigns or runway shows—Wilfree is not just a stylist, but an influential force in the fashion world. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to sit down with him for an exclusive interview at the iconic Spring Studios.

Wilfree Vasquez Torres is an American Dominican fashion consultant, cataloged as an emerging talent into the fashion world, he’s currently living in the East Coast, and as his profession demands he moves all around the globe since he started his production career back in 2016.
Technique
When someone approaches us we can read the intentions and the personality by the image, and what we see. Clothing, makeup, hairstyling are key print marks that drive human interactions. Our species evolved to value beauty and balance as a sign of health, power, security, and leadership. If you think about it twice, your personal image directs and reflects your goals, it moves society. That’s why Wilfree talks about the right shape, texture and colors with his clients due, and fortunately, all humans are different to each other. Extrapolating these principles into commercial campaigns through photography and video productions makes it imperative to have a person with his skills.
Experience
Because Wilfree’s profession is also his passion it is possible to track the very beginning of creative expression since he was 8 years old, mostlike assembling outfits and accessorizing for his mother. It’s not a surprise that the combination of discipline and talent positioned his name on the industry holding a bag full of successful projects like being the Lead Stylist/Brand Ambassador for Irina Shabayeva, the winner of Bravo TV’s Project Runway's sixth season. Wilfree’s name is on projects for Under Armor, Nike, Disney, Rexona, New Balance, Apple, Dancing with the Stars, Universal Studios, Cirque Du Soleil, Macys, Netflix, among others. In 2023, Wilfree achieved the prestigious honor of being named the Stylist’s Choice by The Lab NYFW, marking a pivotal moment in his career.
Life purpose
While walking on Spring Studios back street, between the shade and sunny skyscrapers light reflection the question about his life’s role came to the conversation, Wilfree smiled and defined himself, very clearly, as a giver “...Everyone’s happiness around me fulfills me… my role is to ensure that I can help people to become their more authentic self by the way they dress, by the way they look…” that’s why between his services, the personal fashion consultant is remarkable, a straight way to impact people’s life.
