On Saturday, August 26th New York celebrated the 5th Hamptons Fashion Week in the comfortable installations of Southampton Inn. It has been an outstanding show but more importantly, a symbol of the Hamptons lifestyle and society cohesion previous New York Fashion Week.

Yet again the founder of Hamptons Fashion Week Dee Rivera hit the spot placing on the runway collections by Herve Leger Paris, Cesar Galindo, Anicy Manuguian, Merci Dupre Clothiers, Regina Kravitz, Megan Mae Miami, Theophilio, and Tashii Couture enriched the journey with a variety of concepts inside the luxury category. Between the collections, the audience was able to enjoy beautiful cuts and shapes of high-quality styles made by the hands of talented and experienced designers. The runway was skillfully coordinated by Cesar Galindo behind curtains while a full army of models, hairstylists, and makeup artists completed the looks.

Long careers and the new blood
Young designers were fascinated to see the coordinated language between 30 years of career designers and those fresh ones holding the creativity flag. If you are sharing the game room with masters you better bring the new fire with you, this time it was Megan Mae and Edvin Thompson (Theophilio).

Social interchange
The show is a dance between the artists, the director, and the audience who make the experience happen. The Hamptons are famous for the caliber of the audience, full of economic drivers with a good eye for style, business opportunities, and promoters of good causes; like the Assembly Woman for District 76 of NYC Rebecca Seawright, the Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff, and the CEO and founder of Bella Media Vanessa Coppes among others. A nonprofit organization called Dress For Success displayed clothing for women in the workforce. This nonprofit helps women with employment resources and work attire.
