If there’s a style you don’t have to push to become trending is lingerie, everyone loves it, and just having the chance to take it out from the intimate room and show it to the world sounds thrilling, it’s an endless exploration opportunity for using fishnets, leather, fringe, mesh, high-cut undies, girdles, garter belts, catsuits, bodysuits, and BDSM lingerie, as fashion items able to complete an outfit.

Lingerie is still turning heads even though it’s been around since the 80”s upper-class lifestyle was shown to the masses through TV, and elaborated lingerie was part of it. Then pop culture absorbed this influence by re-writing styling rules by the hand of Madonna, Princess Diana, Jane Fonda, and even Boy George. Since then, you can consider whatever is in your closet as a potential central piece or use it as an accessory for outfits.

Lingerie is a way to embrace sexuality and freedom, especially when the weather is perfect, not too hot, and not cold. The style can be as sophisticated as you want, it can be sweet, or it can be rebellious and edgy, all depending on la façon, as far as it screams “This body deserves to be embellished.”

For this article, we set up a compilation of lingerie street styles for the sculptural Colombian model Caro del Rio. Items used were catsuits, bodysuits, and individual items like bras, once combined with the right shoes, dusters, jean shorts, leggings, and jackets, were added to finish the look.

Happy accidents

In the beginning, the video production was planned as only a runway, a free walk on the streets, nevertheless, during the project we realized how much Caro del Rio enjoys music and dance, turning the whole atmosphere into a music video style, playing some famous reggaeton tunes from Maluma, Anitta, and Jbalvin while filming in New York City. That print is very obvious in the final result.

Nipple covers

This is a must-have due to a lot of lingerie it’s made with transparency and lace. For the photoshoot and video shoot, we initially used Lollipetals red for matching the lingerie black bra with red hearts.
