The 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany's was partly responsible for boosting the brand beyond distance and time. Just mentioning the iconic scene of Holly, the main character, when eating a madeleine while spellbinding looking at the jewelry window display, is enough reason for tourists to come to New York City, have a delightful tour in the store, buy, and yes, have a real breakfast.

Although you can visit the store anytime, our team waited around one month to get the cafe reservation, that must be the first step if you want to achieve the full experience. We were escorted to the elevator through the first floor and up to the sixth floor where the Blue Box Cafe is located. At this point all the interior design takes the main role, captivating the eyes with the traditional turquoise, silver, and gold color palette.

We ordered ''Holly's Favorite'' madeleine, croissant, marmalade, fruit juice, and hot chocolate for $34.00 each, the service was welcoming and aware of the cafe’s social importance, helping clients get a photo with the dish sets here and a photo of the group there…. It’s a pleasant visual and gastronomic experience, most of the time around $100.00 for an individual serving.
After breakfast, we explored the 7 levels available, surprisingly different from each other. Tiffany & Co. is a delicate balance between a museum and a luxury store; you'll be able to discover the brand's history from the very beginning and appreciate beautiful unique jewels, watches, classic handbags, perfumes, and scarves.

Holly Golightly line: "Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany's. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there."
