A fictional unsolved murder mystery for New York Fashion Week took place during the night at midtown riverside in Manhattan, the location that serves as an heliport, sided by a rusted vintage bridge has been truly convenient for Christian Cowan’s fashion show venue.

The british designer filled his guest imagination with the models acting and a sophisticated collection, mature yet trashy with an exclusive club dominatrix-style dress code vibes. The Model silhouettes were overdrawn with satins, leathers and sparkling fabrics under a very balanced color palette of blue, black, sparkling silver, and white with golden details. A metal scaled rose pin detailed the meticulous design while umbrellas and flashlights as props enforced the character's performance.

Makeup and hairstyle

In order to even the models to a single look, the 20’s and 40’s “bob” hairstyle and eyebrows from the last century was selected for the females, a short classic haircut for the males, it really did the job of placing the runway into a movie set.

Where did the concept come from?

Christian Cowan came up with the mystery crime concept due his cinephile taste in crime movies. As media, we had the chance to experience the models' rehearsal and Christian passionate instructions.
